Long Beach State returns home to host USC Tuesday night with the first pitch coming at 6 p.m.

SCOUTING THE TROJANS
USC dropped 2-of-3 games at Stanford over the weekend to fall to 6-13 on the season.
 
Jacob Galloway leads the team in hitting (.356), RBI (17), and on-base percentage (.437). The Trojans' catcher, Galloway has posted a .994 fielding percentage, making only one error in 175 chances (147-27-1).

Righthander Garren Rizzo is the probable starter. He is 0-1 with a 5.11 ERA. He has struck out 10 in 12.1 innings of work.
 
AGAINST THE OPPONENT
Long Beach State and USC are playing for the 134th time with the Trojans leading the all-time series 86-47. The Dirtbags have won two in a row in the series including a 8-3 decision last season at Angels Stadium in Anaheim.
 
LOPEZ LEADS
Freshman shortstop Adrian Lopez has gotten off to a strong start as he leads the club in several categories. Lopez has posted a team-high four home runs, a team-high 16 RBI, and a team-best .526 slugging percentage. He also has posted a team high 45 assists.
 
WILLIAMS APPEARS
Freshman lefty Nick Williams has moved to second in Division I in appearances with 12 for the Dirtbags this season.
 
Williams is 1-0 and has given up only one earned run in 10.1 innings (0.87 ERA). Williams has struck out 15 while only walking five batters. Opponents are batting only .128 against Williams this season.
