Long Beach State Hosts No. 19 Loyola Marymount Saturday

After a two-week road trip, the Beach is back at Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center.
Long Beach, Calif. — The Long Beach State women's water polo team is back at Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center to take on No. 19 Loyola Marymount on Saturday at Noon. The Beach looks to snap a six-game losing streak.
ABOUT THE BEACH
-Last time out, the Beach lost two contests to No. 8 Hawai'i. Kate Green-Jones had a career-high 13 saves in LBSU's non-conference loss to the Rainbow Wahine.
-Junior Elena Kotanchyan leads the team in scoring with 12 goals. Anne de Kleer is second on the team with eight goals, while Gabriella Matafora-Adams has five.
-In the cage, Green-Jones and Inbar Geva have 28 saves apiece.
ABOUT LOYOLA MARYMOUNT
-LMU (3-3) comes in at No. 19 after losing its match to San Jose State last week.
-Alena Sanchez leads the Lions with 14 goals, while Elizabeth Bradley leads the team in the cage with 54 saves.

The Beach will wrap up the regular season against UC San Diego next Friday and Saturday.
