Roch Cholowsky leads the team in hitting (.364), home runs (16), runs (61), slugging (.733), on-base percentage (.509), hits (64), and doubles (15). He was recently named to the Golden Spikes Award Midseason Watch List
CJ Bott is UCLA's probable starter. He is 2-1 with 15 strikeouts in 22 innings this season.
The Bruins defeated the Dirtbags 12-1 on Apr. 8 in Los Angeles. UCLA leads the all-time series 74-48.

ASHWORTH MOVES TO FOURTH IN CAREER WALKS
With two walks during the UC Davis series, Kyle Ashworth moved to fourth in school history in career walks with 94. Former MLB All-Star Jason Giambi holds the school mark with 116. He leads the team in walks in 2025 with 32 and is fourth in the Big West in the category.
Ashworth is the leading Long Beach State hitter this season. The graduate student is hitting .345 after going 7-for-14 against the Aggies May 2-4.
Ashworth is the club leader in runs scored (38 with Alex Champagne), hits (57), doubles (11), triples (2 with Champagne), total bases (78), and on-base percentage (.473).
He has not committed an error in 96 chances (91 PO-5A). Ashworth is hitting .394 in league-only play, the fourth-best in conference-only games.
