Long Beach State begins its final homestand this weekend with a three-game series against UC Davis. Friday and Saturday's games begin at 6 p.m. with Sunday's series finale getting underway at 1 p.m.

SCOUTING THE AGGIES
UC Davis is 21-23 overall after defeating Sacramento State 6-5 Tuesday night at home. The Aggies are 8-13 in league play after being swept by Cal State Fullerton in Davis last weekend.
 
Braydon Woolridge is UC Davis' leading hitting at .326. He is also the team leader in RBI (21), slugging (.438), and on-base percentage (.414). Nick Leehy has hit a club-high three home runs and is second in RBI with 20.
 
Based on last week's play, Bryan Green is Friday's probable starter. Green is second in the Big West in ERA (2.20). He is 3-4 with 57 strikeouts, the eighth-best tally in the league.
 
Ned Frutchey is the Saturday probable starter. He is 1-3 with a 4.46 ERA. He has struck out 33 in 34 innings.
 
Matthew Barnes II is Sunday's probable starter. At 0-2, Barnes II has posted 29 strikeouts in 28.2 innings.
 
Long Beach State leads the all-time series 41-18.

The series at Arizona State Apr. 29-30 began the home stretch for the Dirtbags. Long Beach State will play 13 games in 19 days in three states (Arizona, California, Oregon) to conclude the 2025 regular season.
 
CADENA LEADS TEAM IN HOME RUNS
Nathan Cadena hit his team-leading seventh home run at Arizona State on Apr. 30. His three-run blast against the Sun Devils, gave him the team lead in RBI with 32.
 
Playing all four infield positions, Cadena has started every game this season (42) and is hitting .255.
