Long Beach State travels to No. 10 UCLA on Tuesday night. Coverage on Big 10+ begins at 6 p.m.

SCOUTING THE BRUINS
At 25-6, UCLA is ranked 10th in the D1 Baseball.com Top 25, 11th in the USA Today Coaches Top 25, 12th in the NCBWA Top 30, 17th in the Baseball America Top 25, and ninth in the Perfect Game Top 25 this week.

The Bruins had their nine-game winning streak snapped by San Diego on Sunday in 14 innings. Going 3-1 last week, AJ Salgado hit two home runs and drove in five, while shortstop Roch Cholowsky went 7-for-13 with three doubles.

Cholowsky leads the team in batting (.372). Mulivai Levu is sixth in Division I this week in RBI with 48. He tops the club in home runs with 10.

Lefty Ian May is the probable UCLA starter. He is 5-1 this season in 12 appearances. He has struck out 20 in 33.1 innings. Tuesday is his sixth start.

UCLA leads the all-time series against Long Beach State 73-48.

ROBLEZ'S TOP PERFORMANCE
Albert Roblez turned in one of the season's top Long Beach State pitching performances at Hawai'i on Apr. 5.

Roblez picked up his second win of the season with 5.1 innings of relief. Roblez entered in the fourth inning and retired the first 12 batters he faced. He struck out the side in two innings, striking out eight of 10 batters at one point. He walked two and gave up one hit, throwing a season-high 94 pitches, 58 for strikes.

Roblez currently leads the Dirtbags in ERA (3.86), saves (3), and strikeouts (42). He is 2-0 in 11 appearances, as batters are hitting .186 against him this season.

KAHALEKAI SAVES
Hawai'i native Ka'imi Kahalekai made an impressive return to his home state during the series against the University of Hawai'i on April 4-6.

The 6-8 freshman righty picked up back-to-back saves against the Rainbow Warriors. In game two of the series, Kahalekai needed just eight pitches in 2/3 of an inning to chart his first save. In the series finale, Kahalekai again went 2/3 of an inning, taking 18 pitches to record the save.

GEBB UP TO NINTH IN APPEARANCE
Sophomore Tyler Gebb has moved to ninth in NCAA Division I this week in pitching appearances.
