No. 16 Long Beach State Hits The Road To Take on No. 11 UC Davis

The Beach goes on first road trip to take on the Aggies this weekend.
Long Beach, Calif. — The Long Beach State women's water polo team heads to Davis this weekend to take on the No.11-ranked Aggies for a two-game series.
The Beach will take on the Aggies on Friday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at noon. It will be the first road trip of the season for Long Beach State.
ABOUT THE BEACH
-Long Beach State remained at No. 16 in the Collegiate Water Polo Association poll this week.
-The Beach dropped both its games to No. 5 UC Irvine last weekend.
-Junior Elena Kotanchyan leads the beach in scoring with five goals - all five goals were scored against UC Irvine during Sunday's game.
ABOUT UC Davis
-UC Davis (6-4) split its series with No. 12 UC Santa Barbara last weekend.
-The Aggies are led by Noelle Wijnbelt who leads the team with 20 goals.
UP NEXT
The Beach will travel to Honolulu, Hawai'i next weekend to take on Hawai'i on Thursday and Saturday.
