No. 7 Long Beach State Hosts Double Header

The Beach will play No. 19 San Jose State and Golden West College on Saturday.
LONG BEACH, Calif.—No. 7 Long Beach State (10-8) will take on No. 19 San Jose State (3-11) and Golden West College (13-3) in a double header this Saturday. The first game against San Jose State will take place at 12 p.m. in the Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center followed by Golden West at 3 p.m.
Long Beach State returns to the Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center after battling No.1 Stanford in their home opener on Oct. 12th. The Beach was led by Quinten Osborne and Matt Morris who had two goals each in efforts to take down the Cardinal but they lost 11-5.
San Jose State is coming off a hard fought contest in which they dropped a 10-9 decision to No. 6 Pepperdine. The Spartans have had a tough non-conference schedule with 11 of 14 games against ranked opponents.
Golden West College is currently 13-3 with their only losses coming against Long Beach City College in scores of 12-9, 10-9, and 12-11. Long Beach State will be Golden West's first battle against a ranked Division I program this year.
