Long Beach State To Host Two Big West Foes

No. 12 LBSU will host No. 9 UC Davis on Friday, followed by No. 4 Hawai’i on Sunday.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – LBSU (15-10, 1-0) will head into Friday's game with a nine game win streak as the Beach takes on No. 9 UC Davis (15-9, 1-1). LBSU is currently undefeated in conference play with their sole victory coming against No. 22 CSUN, 10-8. LBSU and UC Davis is set for the first ball drop at 7 p.m. at the Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center.
After the matchup against the Aggies, LBSU will shift attention towards No. 4 Hawai'I (14-4, 2-0). LBSU will be looking to upset the Rainbow Wahine on Sunday, 12 p.m. at the Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center.
LBSU is led by freshman Orsi Hertzka who most recently placed her name in the LBSU record books. Hertzka, with 58 goals, tied herself to the 9th spot for most goals scored in a single season along with Angelica Garcia. Junior Marilia Mimidi has 38 goals on the season, followed by freshman Sarah Barker at 33 goals. The top five goals scorers for the Beach this season are concluded with senior Annabel Harman, 30 goals, and senior Tori Morrissey, 28 goals. Morrissey is also in contention for the LBSU record books with most assists in a single season as she has 21 assists so far. Morrissey is currently seven behind tying the 10th spot.
