Red Hot No. 14 Long Beach State To Host Brown

LBSU will look to extend their win streak to nine games as they take on Brown
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State is riding an eight game win streak and took down No. 17 Princeton in their recent victory. Junior Eirini Patras is coming off of her best game of the season having totaled 16 saves in the match, which ties her career best.
LBSU will shift its attention to Brown (14-5, 0-1) in hopes of extending its win streak to nine games. LBSU will take on Brown at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center.
Freshman Orsi Hertzka has led the way for the Beach with her 55 goals on the season and is closing in on the 10th position of most goals in a season for LBSU. Junior Marilia Mimidi is second with her 35 goals, followed by freshman Sarah Barker with 32 goals. Barker has been scorching for the Beach as she has scored in every match since February 10 against CSUN. Most recently, Barker won the Big West Player of the Week award having scored 10 goals in a three match span. Seniors' Tori Morrissey and Annabel Harman both have 26 goals on the season and sophomore Olivia Grim rounds off the top five scorers for the Beach with 25 goals.
