No. 15 Long Beach State In Search Of Eight Game Win Streak Against No. 14 Princeton

LBSU set to take on Princeton at home on Thursday, at 7 p.m.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State (13-10) is coming off a trio of wins last week having taken down Bucknell, No. 21 CSUN, and No. 15 Wagner. Last week, LBSU beat their opponents by an average of 5.6 goals per game. Freshman Sarah Barker led the way as she totaled 10 goals on the week, including a five goal outing against the Wagner Seahawks.

LBSU will look to extend their current win streak of seven, to eight, against No. 14 Princeton (14-6, 2-0). The Beach will take off for the first sprint at 7 p.m., tomorrow night, at the Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center.

Freshman Orsi Hertzka leads all scorers for the Beach as she now has 54 goals on the season and is three goals behind the 10th spot for most goals scored in a season. Junior Marilia Mimidi is the second leading scorer for the Beach with 32 goals, followed by Barker with 31 goals. Senior Annabel Harman comes in fourth with 26 goals. Rounding off the top five scorers on the year for the Beach is senior Tori Morrissey and sophomore Olivia Grim who both have 24 goals.
