Fullerton, CALIF. – The Long Beach State Cross Country team wrapped up their fourth meet of the season at the 2019 Titan Invitational. Five athletes from the Beach suited up to compete on Cal State Fullerton's course.

The women's program competed in the 5K, while the men's team did not compete.

Freshman Nyah Chavez was the top finisher for the Beach in the women's 5K race. Chavez placed 35th with a time of 20:16.50. Following closely behind was sophomore Anitha Graves who finished in 42nd, clocking a time of 20:38.81. Tyler Simpson and Leann Pavana crossed the finish line in 46th and 47th place; running times of 20:53.68 and 20:55.34.

LBSU Cross Country men's and women's program will return Saturday, November 2 at the 2019 Big West Championships.
