The Beach is headed north to begin the postseason for both the Men’s and Women’s programs.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Cross Country will take part in Friday's NCAA West Regionals, hosted by Sacramento State as the NCAA postseason begins for the Beach.

Long Beach State's men's team is coming off of a solid set of results in the run-up to the NCAA postseason. The program had their first meet win since the 2015 season at the Bronco Invitational behind a runner-up finish from junior Levi Taylor with an 8K time of 23:48.7, the third-fastest time in program history. The Beach placed in fifth overall at the Big West Championships, their best finish since the 2021 season.

In that meet, Long Beach State was led by junior Cameron Rhone, who placed 14th overall with an 8k time of 25:01, but the Beach had three others in the Top 30 as Rhone was joined by Miles Jones, Cristian Martinez and Cameron Gill.

For the women, junior Jadyn Palaschuk was the top finisher at the Big West Championships, while senior Alyssa Tapanes has had a good stretch of results, finishing just behind Palaschuk at the Big West Championships while leading the team at the Bronco Invitational with a 30th place finish with a time of 21:30.6 in the 6K.

The women's team will run first at 9 a.m., followed by the men at 10 a.m. Live results for the meet can be found at https://www.rtspt.com/events/ncaa/d1westxc25/.
