Long Beach State Cross Country Gears Up for the 2019 Titan Invitational

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State gears up to compete on Friday, October 25 at the Titan Invitational hosted by Cal State Fullerton. The women's 5K will kick off the competition at 5:00 p.m., and the men's 8K is scheduled to take place at 5:35 p.m.

Long Beach State will only be participating in the women's portion of the event, with five runners competing on Friday evening.

SANTA CLARA BRONCO INVITE
Michael Simpson and Alyssa Allen had strong performances at the 2019 Santa Clara Bronco Invitational. Simpson crossed the line with a new personal-best time of 24:35.60 in the men's 8K Invitational section.

Allen led the women's team for the third consecutive week with a personal-best time of 21:02.20 in the Invitational 6K. The senior recorded the sixth fastest time in school history. The men's program finished ninth overall, while the women's team placed in 18th.
