LBSU Cross Country Heads to the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State prepares to compete in their third meet of the season on Saturday, October 19 at the Santa Clara University Bronco Invitational. The Beach is coming off of a three week break since competition, in hopes to have many great performances on Saturday.

There will be four scheduled events for the meet. The men's 8K Invitational section will kick off the days' competition, beginning at 8:45 a.m. The women's 6K Invitational section will follow at 9:30 a.m. Their will be an open section for both races scheduled at 10:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. LBSU will be sending a total of 16 athletes out for competition this weekend.

Seniors Alyssa Allen and sophomore Raymon Ornelas were the top finishers for the Beach at the 39th Annual UCR Invitational. Allen ran a personal best time of 21:35.22 in the 6K and is scheduled to compete on Saturday.
