Dimitrios Lappas joined the Beach as a Graduate Assistant coach for the 2017 season. Lappas returns to the Beach after being an assistant coach at Long Beach Poly and at SHORE Aquatics.

Lappas was a four-year starter for the Beach from 2012-2015.He is a two-time ACWPC All-American. During his time with the Beach he scored 114 goals. He scored a career-high 34 goals his junior year and scored more than 20 goals throughout his career.
