Jerry Woods enters his second season as Long Beach State’s Director of Basketball Operations. Woods was previously a graduate assistant with the program for two years before stepping into his current role.

As Director of Basketball Operations, Woods is in charge of all logistics for the program, including travel, equipment, academic monitoring and video coordination. He assists the coaching staff with scouting, game preparation, and on-campus recruiting, as well as engagement with alumni and supporters of the Beach.

Woods is also heavily involved in running of Long Beach State’s basketball camps as well as serving as the primary liaison for the coaching staff with the campus community. Woods came to Long Beach State after graduating from Loyola Marymount University.
