Ethan Chung joins Long Beach State following a stellar prep career at Punahou High School in Hawai’i.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State Men's Basketball has announced that Ethan Chung has been added to the 2026-27 roster after a standout prep career in Hawai'i.
Ethan Chung | Guard | 6-6, 190 | Honolulu, Hawaii
Chung played for three seasons at Punahou High School in Honolulu. As a senior, he averaged 14.9 points per game while making 40 3-pointers. He scored over 20 points four times as a senior and hit double-figures in all but two games as a leader for the program.

Chung joins Max VanLaningham as the two incoming freshmen for the 2026-27 roster which is nearing completion.
