2006-07: Was the leading scorer and rebounder last season for Lamar • averaged 16.9 points and 5.0 rebounds per game while shooting .485 (166-342) from the field, .405 (51-126) from three-point range and .750 (90-120) at the free throw line • led the Runnin' Lopes to a 24-7 record • also added 33 assists and 22 steals • Lamar lost in the second round of the Region IX Tournament to Casper College (67-63) after defeating Northeast CC (80-68) in the opening round.
2005-06: Averaged 11.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game his freshman year at Lamar • Lamar ended the season at 14-18 • Johnson had season-high’s of 25 points and 12 rebounds • redshirted at Boise State during the 2004-05 season before transferring to Lamar. As a prep at Mountain View High School, Johnson was named honorable mention All-State, first team all-region and first team all-league as a senior. He averaged 18.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game in leading his team to a 17-6 record, a second place league finish and a trip to the Regionals. Johnson shot .596 from the field and .450 of his three-point attempts and was invited to play in the Washington All-Star Game. As a junior he averaged 10.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting .560 from the field. Prep team went 18-5 his junior season. Johnson is the second all-time rebounder at Mountain View and is the school record holder for career blocked shots.
