LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Long Beach State has officially signed Sofia Proctor, a 6-2 forward from Bothell, Wash., who joins the Beach after spending the last two seasons at Wyoming and Seattle U.
Sofia Proctor | Forward | 6-2 | Bothell, Wash.
Proctor brings valuable Division I experience to Long Beach State after competing in both the Mountain West and Western Athletic Conference. A versatile forward with the ability to stretch the floor, she continued her development at Seattle U after beginning her collegiate career at Wyoming.
During the 2025-26 season, Proctor appeared in 30 games for the Redhawks, totaling 71 points and 28 rebounds while shooting an efficient 50 percent from the field, 50 percent from three-point range, and 85 percent from the free throw line. Her best performance came in a win over Evergreen State, where she scored a career-high 14 points on 4-of-6 shooting, including two three-pointers.
Proctor spent her freshman season at Wyoming, where she made her collegiate debut and helped the Cowgirls advance to the Mountain West Tournament championship game and earn a berth in the Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament.
Before college, Proctor was a four-year varsity letterwinner at Bothell High School, leading the Cougars to the Round of 12 at the Washington 4A State Championships during her senior season. She was selected to the Brooks Scouting Report All-Star Game following her junior year and helped guide EBC Elite to the Nike Tournament of Champions title as a sophomore. Off the court, Proctor earned the WIAA Outstanding Scholastic Award all four years of high school.
