Corbin Stanley Named Men’s Water Polo Big West Player Of The Week

The center led the Beach on offense against No. 2 USC.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Big West announced Wednesday that sophomore center Corbin Stanley was awarded the Big West weekly honors. Long Beach State has earned back-to-back honors with Gabi Acosta receiving last week's votes.
The Beach (6-2) split two games over the weekend dropping a close match against No. 2 USC, 13-9 and defeating Chapman, 20-8. Stanley added two goals against the Trojans and added a hat trick on the win against the Panthers. The center also added four earned ejections, an assist and a steal.
No. 7 Long Beach State will host their first games of the season as they face Harvard on Saturday at 10 a.m. and a trio of exhibition matches against Golden West College, Orange Coast College and Long Beach City College starting Sunday at 9 a.m.
