Farrell has spent the last two seasons at Portland State.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State Men's Basketball has secured the commitment of another Division I guard, as Cole Farrell will be joining Chris Acker and his staff starting in 2025–26.

Cole Farrell | Guard | 6-5, 195 | St. Louis, Mo.

Cole Farrell has been a major part of the rotation in each of the last two seasons at Portland State. After playing 28 games and averaging 4.0 points per game and over an assist per game as a true freshman, Farrell was even better this past season as a sophomore, shooting 37.7% from three and averaging 6.5 points per game while ranking in the top 60 in the nation in ball control with just 17 turnovers on the season.

Acker on Farrell:
"We are so excited to have Cole and his family join our program. Cole is a dynamic wing that can guard, shoot the three, and play multiple positions. He's got good strength and has all of the characteristics a player needs to be a very good leader for our program."

Farrell is the fourth incoming Division I transfer for the 2025–26 season, joining Shaquil Bender, Isaiah Lewis, and Demarshay Johnson Jr.
