Plummer scored 3,024 points on Thursday
AZUSA, Calif.—Tori Plummer sits in third of the C section of the Heptathlon at the Bryan Clay Multis Thursday at Cougar Stadium.
Plummer ran a career-best 100m hurdles time of 14.71 to finish fifth in the field of 15 to score 880 points.
In the high jump, Plummer tied with Allison Tito of UC Santa Barbara for first, clearing 5-7 to earn 855 points.
Plummer threw a career-best 32-10 1/4 in the shot put to place eighth for 531 points.
She ran a career-best 26.45 in the 200m, which resulted in 758 points and a 12th-place finish.
With 3,024 points, Plummer is 365 points out of first place, which Wofford's Sherika Christie holds.
The competition resumes Friday at 12:30 p.m.
