Long Beach State continues a seven-game road trip this weekend when the Dirtbags travel to the University of Michigan.
Friday's first pitch is set for 3 p.m. PDT. Saturday's game gets underway at 11 a.m. PDT before the series concludes on Sunday at 10 a.m. PDT. All three games are going to be streamed by Big 10+ or you can follow at BeachLiveStats.com
SCOUTING THE WOLVERINES
Michigan is 20-21 after taking their fifth series in a row last weekend against Ohio State.
Jacob Denner earned his second Big 10 Player of the Week honor on Apr. 22. He went 2-0 with a save in three appearances against Toledo and Ohio State. The team leader in appearances (16), Denner is 5-3 with two saves in 53 innings. He has struck out 45 while walking 16.
Mack Timbrook is leading Michigan in hitting at .328). Stephen Hrustich has hit a club high nine home runs while Mitch Voit has driven in a team-high 35 runs.
Michigan has not named a probable starting rotation for the series. Four Wolverines' pitchers have started at least five games this season, led by Mitch Voit who has started all 10 of his appearances this season.
