Isa Silva Selected For CSC Academic All-District

Silva was honored among some of the nation’s most complete student-athletes.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Junior guard Isa Silva has been named to the 2023-24 Division Academic All-District Men's Basketball team, selected by Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC) recognizing high levels of academic and competitive success over the past season.
Silva, a transfer from Stanford, maintained a 3.71 GPA while being one of three Long Beach State players to compete in every single game during the past season as the Beach made a run through the Big West Championship, winning the tournament and advancing to March Madness for the 10th time in program history.
Nominees for the award must hold a cumulative GPA higher than 3.50 while also meet strict performance minimums in their respective sports for the recently completed season. The Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot.
