The Beach are part of a competitive 31-team field which features host Stanford, along with Appalachian State, No. 43 BYU, No. 19 Cal, California Baptist, Cal Poly, Clemson, Colorado, No. 22 Georgia, No. 15 Georgia Tech, Howard, Lipscomb, Little Rock, Nevada, No. 24 Oregon, Oregon State, Pepperdine, No. 29 San Diego State, San Francisco, San Jose State, Santa Clara, TCU, No. 7 Tennessee, UC Davis, No. 27 UCLA, USC, Utah, Utah Tech, and Washington State.
"The team is excited to play in an elite field at a major championship venue," Long Beach State Men's Golf Head Coach Rob Murray stated. "TPC Harding Park was the home of the 2020 PGA Championship. The Goodwin has a strong field with nine teams ranked above us, and it is a great opportunity to play against some of the best teams in the country."
Murray will send the lineup of Clay Seeber, Charlie Forster, Steen Zeeman, Jaden Huggins, and Jack Cantlay to the green on Thursday at the par 70, 7,193-yard course.
"I'm excited to watch the five guys in the lineup play for each other," Murray said. "As we progress through the season, it's fun to watch them form a tight bond and play for something that's bigger than themselves."
Seeber is coming off of a Top 25 showing at the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate. This season, he has recorded four Top 10 finishes in seven tournaments.
Forster and Zeeman will hit the green after turning in a pair of seventh place showings at the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate. The pair tied for the team lead as they each fired a 1-under par performance.
Huggins and Cantlay, meanwhile, look to bounce back from tough showings in their last outings.
