Men’s Golf Prepares For 2026-27 Season With Schedule Announcement

The program has won four consecutive Big West titles.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Head Coach Rob Murray has assembled the 2026-27 schedule for the four-time defending Big West Champions, taking part in a number of high-profile events as Men's Golf aims at another strong campaign.
The season begins on September 14-15, when the Beach will take part in the Vuori Invitational, hosted by San Diego at the Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club. The team will then take on a busy week, returning as defending team champions to the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate in New Mexico before playing in the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational in Colorado. Long Beach Sate then closes out the fall portion of their schedule by returning to the Saint Mary's Invitational on October 19-21.
The spring season begins with a classic tournament, the John A. Burns Intercollegiate hosted by Hawai'i on Kauai in February. The team will then have a busy March, competing in three tournaments. That stretch starts with the R. E. Lamkin Invitational on March 8-9, followed by the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate. After a Top Five finish last season, the Beach returns to the The Goodwin hosted by Stanford to finish off the month of March.
The Beach has been selected to participate in the Golfweek.com Invitational on April 5-6 at Rolling Hills Country Club, and then will defend another title, this time at the ASU Thunderbird Collegiate on April 9-10.
In May, Long Beach State will try to claim a fifth consecutive Big West title, returning to La Quinta Country Club for the Big West Championship. The NCAA postseason follows that competition, with the Beach aiming for a sixth trip to the NCAAs in the last seven seasons.
