Long Beach State returns to Big West play this weekend when the Dirtbags host Cal State Fullerton. Friday and Saturday's games begin at 6 p.m. with Sunday's series finale getting underway at 1 p.m.

Saturday's game marks the first post-game Fireworks show of the season.

SCOUTING THE TITANS
Cal State Fullerton is 8-11 after losing 7-2 to San Diego on Tuesday night. The Titans opened last weekend's Big West series at UC San Diego by defeating the Titans 2-1. UCSD won the final two games of the set, 10-9 and 4-2.

Eli Lopez is the team's leading hitting (.333). Marcus Rosales has hit a team-high three home runs while Maddox Latta has driving in a club-best 17 RBI.

Friday's probable starter is Mikiah Negrete. Negrete, a lefty, is 3-0 in five starts with a 2.15 ERA. He has struck out 25 in 29.1 innings.
