Women’s Golf Begins Spring Season With CSUN/CSUB Tri-Dual Wednesday

The three teams will all compete in a single round at Soule Park Golf Course in Ojai.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – After a record-setting fall start, Long Beach State Women's Golf continues with the spring portion of their season Wednesday with a single round as part of a tri-dual with Big West conference foes CSUN and CSU Bakersfield.
For the second year in a row the three programs will square off for a single round at Soule Park Golf Couse in Ojai, Calif.. Long Beach State had the low team score by 19 strokes last season, highlighted by Angelina Kim and Kristina Ponomareva who each shot a 3-under 69 on the course.
In 2024, Long Beach State will be led by Jasmine Leovao who will top the team lineup, followed by freshman Andee Avery, Janae Leovao, Madison Le and Ponomareva. Freshman Erin Lee along with Kim will also both play the course as individuals on Wednesday.
The Beach is coming off of a fall schedule that saw the team win back-to-back individual tournaments at the Golf Iconic Classic and The Clash at Boulder Creek, raising the programs ranking entering the spring season to No. 69 in the nation, the best in the Big West.
No live scoring for the round from Ojai will be available but results will be posted as soon as they are available on www.longbeachstate.com.
