Men’s Water Polo Ready for Busy Week Starting on Thursday

After winning four games last weekend, the Beach will play four more this week.
LONG BEACH, Calif—After a perfect 4-0 performance and extending their win streak to five games, No. 8 Long Beach State will play four more games this week.
The Beach had a strong showing at last weekend's Inland Empire Classic where they won four games averaging 21 goals per game. Freshman Marc Frigola led the way for Long Beach State with 12 goals, while Riley Catino and Guillermo Ocasio both scored 10 goals.
This week's schedule gets started on Thursday, as the Beach will head back down to La Jolla to face No. 12 UC San Diego. The Tritons enter the game with an overall record of 5-3 after a 3-1 performance at the Inland Empire Classic. The two teams will face off at 6 p.m. at the Canyonview Aquatic Center with the game being streamed on ESPN+.
On Saturday, Long Beach State will play at home for the first time in the 2023 season. They will welcome Long Beach City College, Biola, and No. 17 Brown to Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center for three games. The day will start against Long Beach City College at 10 a.m., followed by Biola at noon, and Brown at 6 p.m. Live stats will be available for all games at theFOSH.net.
