Peppi Ramstedt Named 2023 CSC Academic All-District

Ramstedt earns the honors after posting a 3.91 GPA as a civil engineering major
LONG BEACH, Calif. – The 2023 Academic All-District Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognized the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom on Tuesday morning and Long Beach State's Peppi Ramstedt earned the honors.
Ramstedt, a sophomore from Helsinki, Finland was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team after posting a 3.91 grade point average as a civil engineering major.
On the court, Ramstedt turned in a solid season which culminated in her being named All-Big West Second Team along with teammate Rhona Cook as the duo finished the year with an overall 16-5 record, while going 8-1 in conference action. The tandem went on a tear winning eight-straight matches. She led the Beach with an overall 23-8 doubles record.
In singles, action, Ramstedt earned Big West Honorable Mention status. She played in the second flight and earned 13 wins on the year.
The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes women's tennis honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
The Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, Second-, and Third-Team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on June 1.
