Luka Named to Cutino Award Watch List

The award recognizes the best player in women's college water polo.
IRVINE, Calif.—Lara Luka of women's water polo has been named to the 2023 Cutino Award watch list. The Peter J. Cutino Award, named in honor of the late Hall of Fame coach, recognizes the best player in men's and women's college water polo.
Luka is one of 20 athletes named to the watch list, as nominated by women's varsity college coaches around the country. Finalists for the Cutino Award will be announced following the completion of the women's season. The NCAA Championship is set for May 14 in Stockton, California.
In 12 games this season, Luka has scored 19 goals and has also recorded five assists and three steals.
