Long Beach State Returns Home for Midweek Matchup with Brown

No. 9 Long Beach State will look to continue building momentum against the Bears.
LONG BEACH, Calif.—Long Beach State women's water polo returns to Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center following a signature overtime win over No. 3 California. The Beach will welcome No. 21 Brown to Long Beach on Wednesday at 1 p.m., as the two teams will meet for the first time since 2019.
Wednesday's contest will be the sixth meeting between the two teams since their first matchup in 2013. Long Beach State has won each game and has outscored Brown 53-20 historically.
The Beach will look to build on the momentum of their upset victory on Sunday and are playing in the place to do so. Long Beach State have taken advantage of their home games this season, playing to a 6-1 record.
ABOUT BROWN
Brown will be wrapping up their five-day California trip with two games on Wednesday with the first coming against Long Beach State. The Bears enter the day with an 18-4 record this season and having won eight of their last ten games. Brown is led by Zoe King who has 35 goals this season.
