No. 7 Long Beach State Heads To Irvine For Barbara Kalbus Invitational

The Beach are in Group A along with Stanford, Michigan, and Pomona-Pitzer
LONG BEACH, Calif.—The Long Beach State women's water polo team will head to Irvine this weekend to compete in the Barbara Kalbus Invitational. The stacked field includes 15 of the top 25 teams in the country.
The Beach have been placed in Group A with No. 1 Stanford, No. 9 Michigan, and Pomona-Pitzer, the top ranked Division III program in the country. Long Beach State's first matchup will take place on Friday at 4:15 p.m. as they face off against Michigan.
Other participants include No. 2 USC, No. 3 UCLA, No. 4 California, No. 5 Hawai'i, No. 6, UC Irvine, No. 7 Arizona State, No. 12 Indiana, No. 15 UC Santa Barbara, No. 16 UC San Diego, No. 17 UC Davis, No. 21 San Diego State, and No. 23 Loyola Marymount.
