The Beach will host Toronto before the Barbara Kalbus Invitational this weekend.
LONG BEACH, Calif.—Long Beach State is back in action on Tuesday at 7 p.m. as they host the University of Toronto at Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center.
The Beach returns to the pool after a 10-day hiatus following their 17-13 victory over Loyola Marymount. Hoping to continue their three-game win streak, the Beach will host the University of Toronto, the program's first ever Canadian opponent. The Varsity Blues (12-4-1) are in the middle of a California Tour where they will face nine different schools in the span of a week.
Rachael Kowalchick will look to stay hot as she has scored in all nine games this season, leading the team with 28 goals. Elisa Portillo will also be looking to continue her strong run of form. The freshman attacker has found the back of the cage in seven straight games, including a four-goal game and two hat tricks in her last three. Martina Cardona has now jumped into second on the team in scoring, with 17 goals on the season, scoring in six straight games herself.
Live stats for the game will be available at thefosh.net.
