Long Beach State continues Big West play against No. 6 Anteaters.
Long Beach, Calif. — No. 10 Long Beach State continues its homestand Friday night as the Beach renews the Black and Blue Rivalry for the third time when No. 6 UC Irvine travels to Long Beach for a Big West matchup.
The Anteaters (14-5, 2-0) have taken the first two meetings between the teams. In their most recent contest UCI came away with a 9-8 win at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational.
Last week the Beach (11-11, 0-1) splits its contests picking up a 21-4 win against Bucknell.
Against No. 1 Stanford Orsi Hertzka score three goals on Sunday.
