• Against the Waves, Zach Voelker was tremendous in his first start for the Dirtbags with four scoreless innings on the mound. Tanner Carlson was the difference maker with an RBI single in the seventh for the 2-1 victory.
• The Zags took game one of the series, 7-2, on Friday night. They jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first and never relinquished it. The Dirtbags matched Gonzaga with nine hits on the night, but left 10 runners on base in the loss.
• Game two went to the 'Bags as the offense matched their season-high with 13 runs and set a new season-high with 17 hits. The duo of Chase Luttrell and Rocco Peppi were the headliners combining to go 6-for-7 with four homers, 10 RBI, and six runs scored.
• It was an incredible pitchers' duel in the series finale as both pitching staffs combined for eight and a half scoreless innings before a walkoff RBI single from Tyler Porter in the bottom of the ninth gave the Dirtbags a 1-0 victory.
