2022 (Junior): Appeared in 39 games, making 32 starts … Posted a .345/.397/.466 slash line, all career-highs in his final season … Scored 21 runs and recorded 20 RBI … Hit his first career home run on Mar. 27 at CSUN … Recorded 10 multi-hit games, five of which were three-hit games ... named Academic All-Conference.
2021 (Sophomore): Appeared in 30 games, making 18 starts … Went 17-for-59 (.298) at the plate with five doubles and a triple … Scored 13 runs and recorded eight RBI … Recorded three two-hit games, including a 2-for-3 performance with a double and three RBI against UC Davis on May 29 … Recorded a six-game hit streak from April 11 through April 24.
2020: 2020 season shortened due to COVID-19 pandemic (granted extra season of eligibility) … Started five games while appearing in 12 games for the Dirtbags in his second season with the program. .. Collected five hits in 10 at-bats for a .250 average … Scored five runs and had a team-high four sac bunts in 12 games … Had a season high two hits against Wake Forest (Feb. 22) where he also scored 2 runs … Named Academic All-Conference.
2019 (Freshman): Played in 25 games and made 15 starts as a freshman … Made his first 13 starts at third base and his final two as a first baseman … Had eight hits in 48 at-bats with three runs scored and six RBIs … Recorded his first base hit at Ole Miss on Mar. 2, starting a five-game hitting streak that included a pair of multi-hit games … In the final game of that streak, Mar. 9 against TCU, Carlson went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored, and a season-high four RBIs in a 14-3 win over the Horned Frogs.
High School: Helped Elk Grove High School to three straight CIF-Sac Joaquin Section titles 2015-17 …Chosen first-team All-Delta League in 2017 and 2018 … Cal Hi Sports All-Underclass Team in 2017 and first-team All-Metro in 2018 … Hit .363 as a senior in 2018 with 28 runs scored, 13 RBIs, four doubles, four triples and a home run in 28 games played.
