Long Beach State Heads To Irvine For Barbara Kalbus Invitational

The Beach starts action-packed wekend on Friday against No. 9 Arizona State.
Long Beach, Calif. — Long Beach State heads to Irvine this weekend for the Barbara Kalbus Invitational this weekend where the Beach will be part of a field that features multiple teams in the Top 25.
The Beach (7-7) will open play on Friday when they take on No. 9 Arizona State at 4:15 p.m. at Corona Del Mar High School.
The Sun Devils are on a 3-game winning and are led by Vanda Baksa who leads the team with 28 goals.
Long Beach State is led by Orsi Hertzka who has scored a team-high 38 goals and scored 14 goals last weekend as the Beach went 3-1 at the Fresno State Invite.
The Beach's weekend opponents will be determined after each game and dependent on how other contests conclude.
