Women’s Tennis Opens Big West Play Against UC Davis This Week

The Beach will go head-to-head against UC Davis in their first conference match of the season on Saturday.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State will get a quick start on the conference season when the Beach hosts UC Davis on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 11 a.m.
The Beach lost their first dual match of the season last week against Loyola Marymount, but took the doubles point behind a strong performance in the top flight. Zara Lennon and Sheena Masuda prevailed against LMU's doubles team of (Rutkowska/Tcherkes-Zade) who were ranked No. 18 in the nation.
"We are looking forward to our first conference match of the season against a very solid UC Davis team," stated Hilt-Costello.
