Junior Clare Gibson was the final regional qualifier to compete for the Beach this weekend.

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. – Long Beach State closed out their week in Texas on Saturday with Clare Gibson competing in the women's High Jump.
The junior posted a 28th-place finish, clearing 1.72m in her final round. At five feet, 7.75 inches it is just shy of her career-best as she improved on her West region ranking by four spots.
With the conclusion of the preliminary round, Long Beach State posted three qualifying marks for the NCAA Championships in Oregon beginning on June 9.
Aaron Booth will be competing in the men's Decathlon while Jason Smith will compete in both Long Jump and High Jump.
