No. 18 Long Beach State to Host Final Home Duals on Thursday

The No. 18 ranked Beach will host Saint Katherine’s in a doubleheader on Thursday.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – No. 18 Long Beach State will host a pair of matches against the University of Saint Katherine on Thursday beginning at 11:00 a.m. It will be the final duals at the LBSU Sand Courts this season.
The Beach will celebrate their three seniors, Makenzie Griffin, Madison Smeathers, and Tyler Spriggs, in between the duals with the ceremony.

Long Beach State is coming off a tough week last week, going 1-3 with all three of their losses against top ten teams.
Skyler Germann and Alice Pratesi still hold the best winning percentage on the team sporting a 15-5 record as a pair, primarily as the fourth flight.
The first flight duo of Mari Molina and Tyler Spriggs are not far behind with a 15-7 record.
ABOUT SAINT KATHERINE
-The Firebirds have only played two matched thus far, going 0-2 on the season.
-Saint Katherine didn't play last week as they opened up the season on April 3 against Concordia (Irvine) and CSUN, falling victims of a sweep in both duals.
-The Beach has never faced the University of Saint Katherine in the program's history.
