LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State will have Jason Smith representing them at the Stanford Invitational this weekend. He will participate in both the High Jump and Long Jump events.

Smith looks to keep his momentum going after winning the Long Jump last weekend at UCLA's Bob Larsen Track Meet with a mark of 25-1.75. He also won the 200m Dash with a personal best of 21.54.

The Long Jump this weekend will be Friday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. consisting of 16, 10 of which are from the PAC-12. Smith's current season best ranks best among the competitors and sits 17th best in the nation.

The senior will have less competition in the High Jump as only eight student-athletes are scheduled to compete, five of which represent PAC-12 schools. The event is scheduled for Saturday at approximately 11:00 a.m.
