LBSU Men’s Water Polo ready to battle top ranked teams.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – No. 8 Long Beach State is gearing up for competition at the MPSF Tournament this weekend. The Beach will battle No. 9 UC Davis (5-4) at 2:20 p.m. in their first game of the Tournament on Friday at Loyola Marymount. Three games will follow, with locations and opponents to be determined through prior results.

    The Beach will have a doubleheader on Saturday and a final game on Sunday. The field is very strong, featuring the top 11 teams in the CWPA National Rankings, including Long Beach State.

    Through 12 games, the Beach is led by Austin Stewart with 33 goals and 11 assists on the season. Stewart is followed by a trio of sophomores in Matt Morris who has 22 goals as well as Theodoros Pateros and Garrett Zaan who each have 18.
