Women’s Tennis Team And Three Individuals Garner ITA Academic Honors

Emma Bardet, Dominique Meyer and Wiktoria Rutkowska all received individual honors.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced its 2019 All-Academic Award winners on Thursday, and Long Beach State again had multiple honorees.
For teams to be honored by the ITA, the full squad has maintain an average cumulative GPA of 3.20 or above for all letterwinners during the previous season. Long Beach State once again met this standard, a tradition for the program for 15 years running.
Additionally, three individuals met the higher standard of scholar-athlete recognition by recording a cumulative GPA of over 3.50, a mark reached by a trio of freshman for the Beach in Emma Bardet, Dominique Meyer and Wiktoria Rutkowska.
All three were also recognized for their athletic achievements with first-team All-Big West honors during the 2018-19 campaign.
