Women’s Tennis Advances To NCAA Tournament, Faces Cal Friday

Long Beach State will play the Golden Bears within driving distance in Malibu, Calif.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State has found out their tournament destination and will face No. 16 California to open the NCAA Tournament on Friday, May 3.
The Big West Champions will play the Golden Bears in the first round hosted on the campus of Pepperdine beginning at 10 a.m. The other teams at the site include the host Waves, seeded sixth in the tournament, as well as the Fairfield Stags who will be Pepperdine's opponent in the first round.
Should Long Beach State defeat Cal, the Beach would continue to the second round of play which would also be held at Pepperdine on Saturday, May 4 at 1 p.m.
