No. 15 Long Beach State To Face Four Contests This Weekend In Ann Arbor

LBSU will confront No. 21 Marist, No. 13 Fresno State, St. Francis (Pa.), and No. 7 Michigan.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – No. 15 Long Beach State (4-8) will be back on the road for a couple of matches against ranked opponents in addition to their non-ranked foe. Long Beach State was 2-2 last weekend in the Barbara Kalbus Invitational, including a sudden victory win against then-No. 13 San Jose State.

This weekend, LBSU will take on No. 21 Marist (7-6) on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by No. 13 Fresno State (4-8) at 2:45 p.m. On Sunday, the Beach will take on St. Francis (Pa.) at 11:15 a.m. and will conclude the tournament against host. No. 7 Michigan (8-7) at 2:00 p.m.

Freshman Orsi Hertzka leads the way for the Beach with 31 goals on the year, followed by senior Tori Morrissey with 15 goals. Senior Annabel Harman makes her way with 14 goals, along with freshman Sarah Barker and sophomore Olivia Grim who both have 10 goals on the season for the Beach.
