No. 14 Beach Prepares For Two Matches

Long Beach, Calif. - No. 14 Long Beach State is back at Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center this week for a pair of matches against Brown and No. 19 Cal State Northridge.
The Beach (9-11, 1-1) will first take on Brown Thursday at 12:30 p.m., the Bears (9-10) are currently on a West Coast swing and have won two straight contests against Claremont and Concordia.
Brown is led by Jessica Heilman, who has scored 32 goals on the year. Along with Heilman, Lexi Atwell is second in goals with 26.
Following its contest with Brown, LBSU will be back in the pool when they welcome Big West for, CSUN (15-12, 0-1) is coming off of a 16-3 win against Redlands last week.
The Matadors are led by Madeleine Sanchez who has scored 43 goals on the year.
Along with their contest on Saturday, the Beach will honor its seven seniors.
