Long Beach State Hosts Dartmouth in Final Match of Homestand
The Long Beach State women's tennis team closes out its longest homestand of the season on Friday, March 23 when the Beach welcome Dartmouth to Rhodes Tennis Center. The match is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start.
About The Beach
• Long Beach State is looking to get back on the winning track after dropping a close 4-3 contest to Purdue last week which put an end to the Beach's three-match winning streak.
• The Beach Beach are 6-6 on the year overall and 2-1 in Big West Conference matches.
• LBSU has done well in singles competition this season and are led by senior Lena Pacholski who has won her last two singles matches.
• Freshman Carlota Casasampere is riding a four-match winning streak as she has won her last four singles draws dating back to the match against UC Irvine.
Across the Net - Dartmouth
• Dartmouth comes into the match against Long Beach State with a 7-7 record after having dropped a 5-2 decision at Pepperdine on Tuesday.
• The Big Green is 1-4 when playing on the road with their only road win coming at San Diego State (4-3) on March 16.
