No. 6 Beach Heads To Davis For Aggie Roundup

Long Beach, Calif. - No. 6 Long Beach State men’s water polo team will be on the road this weekend as the team heads to Davis for the Aggie Roundup Saturday and Sunday.
After a 2-0 outing at the Inland Empire Tournament last week, the Beach (5-1) will face three ranked opponents. In their first match on Saturday the team will take on No.9 UC Davis (4-2) at 10:30 a.m.
It’ll be the second time the Beach faces the Aggies since Sept. 2 when LBSU defeated UC Davis 13-10 at the Triton Invitational in San Diego.
In their second game of the day, the Beach will take on Golden Coast Conference rival and No. 5 Pacific (4-1) at 3:30 p.m. LBSU will look to avenge two close 12-11 losses to the Tigers last year including in the GCC Tournament.
LBSU will open Sunday with a game against Whittier (1-2) at 10:30 a.m. The Beach will then finish up the Aggie Roundup when they take on No.2 USC (5-0) at 3:30 p.m.
