Eales Honored At Wimbledon

Eales returned to the lineup last week with a dominating win.

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Beach Tennis junior Laura Eales was recently honored by the Lawn Tennis Association for her performance in last year's AEGON Summer County Cup. Eales had already won multiple county cup titles but won all 15 of her matches in 2014 to earn the recognition.

Eales was one of seven players nationwide to win all 15 matches in a Summer County Cup and was recognized at the LTA's cocktail party at Wimbledon for her achievement. There were over 330 competitors in all of the UK.

She is one of seven returners for the Beach next year. Last year, she was a mainstay in both the doubles and singles lineup, helping the Beach to another Big West title and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
